The British Army Sky Sabre is an area air defense system architecture intended to engage multiple airborne targets simultaneously tracking them at a distance of up to 200 kilometers. The Sky Sabre air defense system is expected to operate along with the Land Ceptor short-range air defense system. The new air defense system should enter service with the British Army in the 2020-2025 timeframe.
